Solution Architect Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:

    1. 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, system design, or IT architecture

    2. 3–5+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent role

Solution & System Design Skills

    1. Experience designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable enterprise solutions

    2. Strong knowledge of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, layered architecture)

    3. Ability to produce architecture artifacts (e.g., HLD, LLD, sequence diagrams, ADRs)

    4. Strong experience in Mobile Solution Architecture (iOS, Android, or cross-platform), including end-to-end design and integration with backend systems

    5. Understanding of mobile-specific considerations such as performance optimization, offline capability, API efficiency, authentication, and security

Technology & Platform Knowledge

    1. Solid understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), On‑premise, and hybrid environments

    2. Experience with REST APIs, messaging systems, and integration middleware

    3. Familiarity with modern development practices, CI/CD, and DevOps

AI & Innovation Capability

    1. Experience in designing or leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance system capabilities and automation

    2. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools or AI agents (e.g., Copilot, intelligent automation) to improve productivity and solution design

    3. Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into architecture, such as knowledge systems, automation workflows, or intelligent decision support

Non‑Functional & Quality Considerations

    1. Strong knowledge of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability, and security

    2. Experience designing solutions that meet enterprise security and compliance standards

Communication & Stakeholder Management

    1. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts

    2. Ability to understand and collaborate with foreign vendors and international teams, including capturing key ideas, clarifying requirements, and translating them into actionable technical solutions

    3. Strong ability to facilitate discussions and ensure mutual understanding, even when dealing with different accents, communication styles, or incomplete information

    4. Ability to present and explain solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business leadership

Delivery & Governance Experience

    1. Experience enforcing architecture standards and best practices

    2. Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments

    3. Ability to govern solution quality across the delivery lifecycle

Nice‑to‑Have (Preferred)

    1. TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification

    2. Experience in a specific industry (e.g. banking, telecom, e‑commerce, enterprise IT)

    3. Experience in mobile-first or digital platform environments
