Solution Architect - ServiceNow Design Authority and Technical Governance Role

Summary:

• seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to support one of the leading healthcare providers in the United States.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture and providing technical governance across ITSM, ITOM, SPM and CWM.
• This role ensures solutions align with CSDM, integration standards, platform best practices, and configuration-over-customization principles, while governing solution quality, platform scalability, release management, and overall implementation readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own and drive end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture across ITSM, ITOM, SPM and CWM modules.
• Define and govern solution designs to ensure alignment with Common Service Data Model CSDM, platform standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Serve as the primary design authority, advocating configuration-over-customization approaches and reusable platform capabilities.
• Review, validate, and approve configurations, technical documentation, test strategies, and deployment artifacts prior to production promotion.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design workshops, code reviews, and configuration governance activities.
• Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, implementation best practices, and platform governance processes.
• Govern release management, deployment strategies, environment management, platform upgrades, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, QA, business analysis, and support teams.
• Lead RAID management, phase-gate reviews, technical status reporting, and delivery governance activities.
• Support integration strategy and architecture involving ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience in ServiceNow solution architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proven experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership capabilities.
• Experience governing cross-functional teams, solution reviews, and architecture decision-making processes.

Required Technical Skills :

• Deep expertise across ServiceNow platform modules including: IT Service Management ITSM IT Operations Management ITOM Strategic Portfolio Management SPM
• Collaborative Work Management CWM Strong knowledge of: Common Service Data Model CSDM CMDB Discovery Service Mapping ServiceNow platform architecture
• Expertise in solution design, architecture governance, and enterprise-scale implementations.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow integration frameworks, APIs, IntegrationHub, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with release governance, deployment management, platform upgrades, and environment strategy.
• Strong architecture review and technical governance experience.
• Knowledge of platform security, access controls, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to drive technical decisions while balancing business requirements and platform capabilities. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect CTA.
• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or equivalent architecture-level certifications. Certifications in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, SPM, or related ServiceNow modules.
