About this role

We are seeking an experienced Smart Manufacturing Solution Architect to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end Smart Manufacturing solutions for industrial customers across Southeast Asia.

The Solution Architect is responsible for translating customer business challenges into scalable, innovative, and integrated manufacturing solutions by combining automation, digitalization, Industrial IoT, AI, and manufacturing software technologies.

This role serves as the technical leader throughout the entire solution lifecycle—from customer engagement, solution architecture, proposal development, implementation governance, and continuous solution optimization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive system architectures and proposals, and recommendations for clients by utilizing broad technical skills, industry knowledge, and business acumen.

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture covering Manufacturing Intelligence, automation production line for electronics assembly, AI Server etc.

• Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Develop system specifications and oversee the implementation of system components.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations for best-fit Smart Manufacturing architecture

• System Integration:

  • Lead the integration of equipment and software components to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • provide workable technical proposals or DFM that include product technologies integration, architectures, and services to solve clients' challenges and pain points.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, configurations, and processes.

• Develop architectural diagrams and technical documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Factory Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Architect, with a minimum of 3-5 years in system design and implementation from preferred industries: Electronics Manufacturing, PCB, AI Server related.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Industrial Engineer (IE), Automation Engineer (AE) or Mechatronics Engineer (ME).
• Experience with system integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English (writing, speaking, reading and listening skills); Mandarin speaking proficiency is highly valued and will be prioritized.
• Equipment or machine simulation software.
