Solution Consultant - Direct Sale

Role Overview

As a Solution Architect/ Consultant for Direct Sales, you will be the ultimate technical bridge between SIONIQ's advanced capabilities and major jewelry enterprise clients. You will not just pitch softwareyou will map complex business workflows (metal weight controls, wastage tracking, stone attributes, and layout-based approvals) into elegant architectural solutions using SIONIQ JOS.

The defining requirement of this role is your ability to conduct highly technical, end-to-end, deep-dive demonstrations that command the respect of traditional promoters, CFOs, operations heads, and IT directors across the retail, wholesale, and manufacturing jewelry segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep-Dive Technical Demonstrations: Deliver meticulous, master-level product demonstrations tailored to jewelry industry stakeholders, simulating real-life scenarios like gold-to-diamond swapping, karigar wastage calculations, RFID inventory tracking, and multi-branch accounting.
• Solution Architecture Design: Map out the client’s existing technical environment and design the future-state blueprint using SIONIQ JOS, outlining data migrations, custom workflows, and API integrations with accounting or e-commerce platforms.
• Direct Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives on strategic enterprise deals, steering the technical qualification process and validating compliance, security, and infrastructure requirements.
• Discovery & Workflow Assessment: Conduct on-site technical discoveries at client manufacturing units, wholesale vaults, and retail showrooms to uncover hidden operational inefficiencies or product leaks.
• Proof of Concept (PoC) Ownership: Build and lead tailored PoCs for premier prospects, proving the concrete business value, speed, and real-time inventory control capabilities of the platform.
• RFIs & Technical Documentation: Own the technical responses for Requests for Proposals/Information (RFPs/RFIs) and author comprehensive architectural solution blueprints for handoff to the implementation team.

Required Skills & Experience

Domain Expertise (Non-Negotiable)

• Jewelry Value Chain Mastery: Comprehensive understanding of jewelry operational mechanics, including pure metal vs. alloy calculations, making charges, stone sieve sizes, hallmark compliance, and live bullion rate feeds.
• Segment Familiarity: Deep appreciation for the distinct operational differences separating Manufacturers (line planning, raw materials), Wholesalers (B2B credit, approval memos), and Retailers (barcoding, loyalty, multi-store exchange policies).

Technical & Sales Acumen

• Solution Architecture: Minimum of 3–6 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, or Lead Implementation Consultant for Enterprise ERP/POS software.
• Demonstration Mastery: Exceptional capability to showcase complex enterprise logic under pressure, addressing edge-case workflow adjustments effortlessly on screen.
• Tech Stack Fluency: Comfortable explaining SaaS vs. cloud vs. on-premise deployments, relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL), and modern Web/Mobile API structures.
• C-Suite Communication: Polished verbal and written communication style capable of shifting fluidly from a granular technical talk with an IT Director to a high-level ROI conversation with a jewelry brand founder.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying or selling regional or global jewelry ERP systems (e.g., customized SAP modules, legacy jewelry software).
• Direct experience handling hardware integrations common to the jewelry industry, such as RFID tags, security scanners, or smart precision scales.
