Solution Design Consultant

For our client, we are seeking a Solution Design Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape renewal-focused service design that balances automation with human intervention, using diagnostic insights to improve customer outcomes and business performance. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders, Finance, Deal Desk, Delivery teams, and Solutions Architects to translate complex findings into scalable commercial models. The position combines strategic analysis, pricing support, and contract alignment to ensure the solution remains intact from design through execution in a fast-moving consumer technology environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end diagnostic process for renewal engagements, securing executive sponsorship and defining scope.
• Translate diagnostic insights into a service design that balances autonomous and human-driven renewal actions.
• Develop detailed business cases with clear assumptions and financial modeling of costs.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk and Finance on pricing and profitability to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Maintain solution integrity throughout negotiations and align contract terms with the approved business case.
• Transfer design and performance insights to Delivery teams and Solutions Architects.
• Evaluate live performance against the design during the ramp period and refine diagnostic methods.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in business, finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of business issues.
• Experience presenting findings to senior executives, especially in renewal and customer success contexts.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel, including multi-year business cases and margin analysis.
• Ability to design and price operational models with a strong commercial focus.
