Solution Development Specialist

Job Overview:

• The primary purpose of this position is to drive and coordinate the development and execution of strategic new solution initiatives for the Latin American market, from opportunity identification through commercialization.
• The role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities, conducting market and business analysis, and supporting the successful implementation of innovative solutions that create value for customers and the business.
• Work in the LATAM Regional Corporate Office, based in Mexico City.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g. Innovation Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, International Business, Marketing, Economics)
• 2 - 3 years in related positions
• Experience: Business development, product management, engineering, or related fields is desirable, preferably in HVAC, development of new products, services, or solutions involving cross-functional collaboration is desirable.
• Languages required: Advanced English, Japanese (optional)
• USA VISA (optional)

Main responsibilities:

New Solution Development

• Drive and coordinate the development and execution of new solution initiatives for the Latin American market.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct market research, customer needs analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify business opportunities.
• Develop business cases, market sizing analyses, and commercial feasibility assessments.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Support solution validation, commercialization planning, and management reporting.

Product Planning Support

• Support Product Planning activities through competitor benchmarking, product comparisons, market research, and market trend analysis.
• Assist in regional product planning activities by collaborating with R&D, manufacturing sites, and sales affiliates.
• Support regulatory research and certification-related activities across Latin America as needed.

Skills/Abilities:

• Technical aptitude and ability to understand HVAC technologies and evaluate technical information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and an inquiring mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate activities across different departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
