Solution Engineer Manager – ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy ASRS solutions integrated with WMS (Blue Yonder, SAP EWM) and ERP systems.
• Lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of warehouse automation software.
• Ensure seamless integration between ASRS, robotics, WES/WCS, and enterprise applications.
• Serve as functional lead for medium-to-large ASRS automation projects, managing requirements, risks, and schedules.
• Analyze warehouse workflows to identify optimization opportunities in throughput, efficiency, and storage density.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful implementations.
• Continuously evaluate ASRS performance and drive improvements across warehouse types.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, warehouse automation, or supply chain technology.
• Strong knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS and SAP EWM (S/4); ERP integration experience is a plus.
• Practical experience with ASRS technologies (e.g., Dematic, SSI Schäfer, Swisslog, Siasun, Honeywell).
• Expertise in robotics integration and reusable interface development.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale automation projects across multiple technical and functional areas.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; comfortable working in global, cross-cultural environments.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese is a strong advantage.
