Government / PSU project experience is mandatory.

Candidates must have prior experience working with Government departments, PSU, or Public Sector clients and should have hands-on experience in Government RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, tenders, bids, solution design, and techno-commercial proposals.

Candidates without Government project experience will not be considered.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect Cloud & Infrastructure to support Government and Public Sector projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Cloud, Data Center, Infrastructure, Virtualization, and Solution Architecture, combined with proven experience in Government RFPs, tenders, pre-sales, and customer-facing solutioning.

The candidate will work closely with Government clients and internal technical, sales, and delivery teams to understand business and technical requirements, design appropriate solutions, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and support the complete solutioning cycle from requirement gathering through proposal and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Government / PSU clients to understand business, technical, and infrastructure requirements.

• Design and architect Public, Private, Hybrid Cloud, Colocation, and Data Center solutions.

• Assess existing customer IT infrastructure and recommend suitable cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and transformation strategies.

• Conduct Cloud Readiness Assessments, Migration Assessments, and infrastructure assessments.

• Understand the customer's overall IT landscape, including:

• Data Center

• Servers

• Storage

• Networking

• Virtualization

• Security

• Backup

• Disaster Recovery

• Public Cloud

• Develop To-Be architecture, solution designs, migration roadmaps, and implementation strategies.

• Prepare technical solutions and techno-commercial proposals for RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, tenders, and bids.

• Analyze Government RFP/tender requirements and map them to appropriate technology solutions.

• Prepare BoM/BoQ, effort estimates, solution documents, technical responses, architecture diagrams, and commercial inputs.

• Work closely with sales teams to develop customer-specific solutions and proposals.

• Present technical solutions, architecture, and value propositions to Government officials, IT teams, senior stakeholders, and decision-makers.

• Conduct customer workshops, technical discussions, solution presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts where required.

• Work with OEMs, technology partners, and internal delivery teams to develop end-to-end solutions.

• Design solutions leveraging technologies from multiple OEMs and cloud platforms.

• Provide technical guidance throughout the pre-sales and solutioning lifecycle.

• Support migration, greenfield, modernization, and transformation requirements.

• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, commercially viable, scalable, secure, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Experience interacting with Government officials and senior client stakeholders.

• Presenting solutions to Government officials and technical committees.
• Supporting clarification responses and technical negotiations.
• Working under strict timelines associated with Government tenders.
