The Amazon Logistics Brazil (AMZL) team is looking for a Logistics Operations Leader to join the Amazon External Logistics Partners. You will be responsible for managing a team of external logistics partners, as well as managing a team of logistics operations analysts, who will also be Amazon officials, to ensure the performance and compliance of the partner processes. You will work in a highly collaborative environment that is closer to a start-up than a large company. A gifted attitude is that no idea is the best idea and the best ideas are those that must be tested and experienced.

Key job responsibilities

Create and cultivate a safe work environment, identifying security opportunities in your time and logistics partners;

Lead and train members of your team to deliver the best service to our partners and clients.

Guarantee that customer requests are attended to in accordance with safety and quality guidelines;

Analyze metrics and identify details to quickly find root causes and drive improvements;

Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems;

Provide daily support during the launch/implementation of newer systems/processes and collect feedback;

Involve with support functions and/or other departments to address common problems or needs of performance indicators;

Monitor deliveries, acting proactively to identify and correct deviations and adapt, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations, operating costs;

Conduct meetings and communicate with internal and external suppliers;

Ensure that your equipment and logistics partners have adequate tools to carry out the work and coordinate moves when necessary;

Communicate daily metrics and report excesses to other departments in Operations and throughout Amazon, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
