Solutions Architect (Cloud Solutions)

About the role

This role involves understanding clients' requirements and designing technical solutions on AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud that address scalability, reliability, security, and performance. You will act as a consultant to assist customers in navigating their cloud journey, work closely with the sales team from a technical perspective, and collaborate with architects and engineers to create technical documents and proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions on AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud that address clients' requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
• Act as a consultant to assist customers to navigate their own cloud journey
• Work closely and support sales team in technical perspective
• Work closely with a team of architects and engineers to create technical documents and proposals
• Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations, technical presentations and seminars
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or a similar role in the IT cloud solution
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies on AWS, other cloud computing trends (e.g. Azure, Alibaba Cloud is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g. AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud is preferred)
• Proven experience architecting, designing, and programming applications in an AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud environment
• Strong communication skills for customer/partner engagement
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work to drive customer success
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (written and spoken)

• Professional certifications (AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud)

• Proven experience in strategic planning and business development

• Knowledge of Microsoft M365 and Cybersecurity, AI Services for GTM or internal use

• Architectural knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including (networking, servers, storage infrastructure and virtruallization)

• Immediately available will be preferred
