Solutions Architect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with experience in areas such as application architecture, infrastructure design, database design, and technical solution development.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, including web and/or mobile application development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as PHP, Java, Python, or .NET.
• Knowledge or experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with web service integration and APIs, including SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with integration protocols such as SMPP, EMIUCP, and HTTP is an advantage.
• Experience working with public or third-party APIs, such as Google APIs, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman is an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and documentation skills.

Job Description

Requirements Definition and Management

• Participate in the review and analysis of project requirements and contribute to solution proposals, application features, architecture, and development estimates.
• Translate business and user requirements into high-level application designs and collaborate with relevant project stakeholders, including Business Analysts, to define appropriate technical solutions.

Solution Design and Architecture

• Design technical solutions covering application architecture, database architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and other system design requirements.
• Develop end-to-end solution designs covering system components, interfaces, and integrations, with consideration for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Systems Design, Integration, and Development

• Design system components and integration strategies for connecting applications and systems using appropriate technologies and standards.
• Define software modules and help ensure effective data flow and interoperability across systems.
• Work closely with development teams throughout implementation to help ensure that technical designs are properly translated into working solutions.

Data Modeling and Database Design

• Apply appropriate data modeling and database design techniques based on project requirements.
• Design and maintain database structures and mechanisms for efficient data storage and access.

Documentation, Architecture Governance, and Collaboration

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Participate in architecture and technical reviews to identify potential risks and ensure alignment with approved solutions and project requirements.
• Review code, technical designs, and deliverables for alignment with established architecture and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, Business Analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to discuss requirements and reach agreement on technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical training, knowledge sharing, documentation, and project delivery activities.

Technology Evaluation

• Research and evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tools that may support project requirements and technical objectives.
• Stay updated on relevant technology trends and development practices and contribute recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: Php60,000.00 per month
