Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Migration Solutions Architect to design and lead complex enterprise migration and consolidation programs across Microsoft environments in a banking/financial services domain.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Quest migration tools, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Azure, with the ability to take migrations from discovery and planning through execution, cutover and post-migration support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise migration and consolidation programs.

• Plan and execute Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 migrations.

• Use Quest migration tools to support complex migration scenarios.

• Perform discovery, dependency analysis, migration assessment and readiness planning.

• Define migration architecture, approach, sequencing, coexistence and cutover strategies.

• Plan tenant-to-tenant, domain and identity migrations.

• Manage data, user, group, device and application dependencies during migration.

• Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans and validation processes.

• Identify and manage migration risks, security requirements and technical dependencies.

• Lead migration testing, cutover, troubleshooting and post-migration stabilisation.

• Work closely with infrastructure, security, application and business teams throughout delivery.

• Migration planning, sequencing and cutover

• Data validation, rollback and post-migration support

• Networking, security and infrastructure dependencies

• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

Experience

• Experience in Financial Services (desirable)

• Strong experience delivering large-scale enterprise migration programs.

• Hands-on experience with Quest migration tooling.

• Proven experience migrating Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID environments.

• Experience with complex tenant, domain and identity consolidation.

• Strong understanding of migration architecture, coexistence, cutover and rollback.

• Ability to lead migrations from initial discovery through production cutover and stabilisation.

• Relevant Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 or identity certifications are highly regarded.
