We are partnering with a leading Australian infrastructure organisation undertaking a major Azure cloud-foundation uplift alongside a Microsoft Fabric data-platform programme.

We are seeking two senior Solution Architects to provide independent architecture assurance across either the Azure Cloud Infrastructure or Microsoft Fabric workstream.

These are client-side architecture roles. You will review, challenge and assure vendor-produced solution designs, identify risks and gaps, and support designs through governance and endorsement ahead of build. This is not a detailed design-authoring role; it requires the technical depth and stakeholder confidence to ensure quality outcomes while keeping delivery moving.

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect

You will focus on Azure cloud foundations, with particular emphasis on complex networking and hybrid connectivity back to on-premises environments.

Key areas include:

• Azure networking, including hub-and-spoke or vWAN, ExpressRoute, DNS and Azure Firewall/NVAs
• Identity, security and governance across Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access and Azure Policy
• Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework alignment
• Review of architecture documentation and vendor designs through governance forums

Data Solution Architect – Microsoft Fabric

You will focus on assuring the architecture of an enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure and production-ready.

Key areas include:

• Microsoft Fabric platform architecture, including tenant, capacity, domain and workspace design
• OneLake, lakehouse and warehouse patterns, security, monitoring, resilience and operational readiness
• Modern data architecture, including medallion patterns, data products, integration, quality and lineage
• Review of vendor architecture designs, risks and practical Fabric limitations

About you

You will bring strong enterprise architecture capability within either Azure Cloud Infrastructure or Microsoft Fabric, along with the ability to review formal design documentation, constructively challenge delivery partners and influence senior stakeholders.
