Service Point is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technology Deployment Solutions Architect to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring our multi-site technology deployments are estimated accurately, priced competitively, and aligned with the specific labor, time, and resource requirements of each project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling, POS systems, SD-WAN deployments, and circuit turn-ups, with the ability to break down scope into detailed labor estimates and apply precise pricing models.

Key Responsibilities

• Labor Estimation & Pricing:

• Develop detailed labor estimates for multi-site deployments, including structured cabling, POS systems, SD-WAN, and circuit turn-ups.

• Break down tasks such as installation, device configuration, engineering support, and PMO needs into clear estimates.

• Apply accurate pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive bids.

• Scope Analysis & Customization:

• Analyze project scopes and determine the resources and labor required.

• Customize estimates based on project complexity, location, and specific client needs.

• Adjust estimates and pricing as needed based on scope changes or new information.

• Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to align estimates with project goals and timelines.

• Provide clear breakdowns of estimated costs and labor, ensuring all stakeholders understand project resources.

• Collaborate with clients to adjust estimates when necessary.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Produce detailed reports outlining costs associated with each phase of deployment for internal and client use.

• Document the estimation process to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.

• Process Improvement:

• Continuously improve the estimation process by applying lessons learned from past projects.

• Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and pricing trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Industry Experience:

• Proven experience estimating labor for multi-site technology deployments (structured cabling, POS, SD-WAN, circuit turn-ups).

• Strong understanding of technical requirements for large-scale deployments.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with technology deployment components such as routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling systems.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site plans to develop labor estimates.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical skills for breaking down complex projects and estimating required time and labor.

• Problem-solving skills to adjust estimates and project plans as needed.

• Communication & Collaboration:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate scope, costs, and resource needs to various stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on expectations and pricing.

• Organizational & Time Management Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple projects and estimates simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of quotes.

• Attention to detail in tracking and managing project data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience estimating national deployments.
• Familiarity with project management and pricing metrics.
• Certifications in structured cabling, SD-WAN, or related technologies, is a plus.
• Familiarity with pricing software.
• Field experience in structured cabling , Network device installs, AV, POS, Servers, Data Center or other related technology.
