Solution Architect

We’re looking for a well-rounded Solution Architect to join a new cross-functional team focused on taking business needs from initial concept through technical design and delivery.

This is not a narrowly focused cloud or infrastructure architecture role. We’re looking for someone with broad technical experience who can work directly with business stakeholders, understand loosely defined requirements, evaluate the technologies available, and design practical solutions that can actually be implemented.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Own solution design from initial discovery through implementation and delivery.
• Work across engineering, data, infrastructure, and business teams to drive solutions forward.
• Evaluate technologies across cloud, infrastructure, databases, integrations, workflow automation, and data movement.
• Design solutions involving system integrations, client data feeds, and secure file transfer technologies such as SFTP/FTP.
• Support workflow and automation initiatives using platforms such as Appian.
• Work effectively in environments where requirements may not be fully documented and discovery happens directly through stakeholder conversations.
• Help deliver both straightforward and complex solutions, ranging from secure data transfers to workflow automation and client-facing platforms.

What We’re Looking For

• Solution Architecture experience with exposure across multiple technology domains.
• Broad technical background spanning infrastructure, networking, servers, databases, integrations, cloud technologies, and data movement.
• Strong ability to work directly with business stakeholders and turn loosely defined needs into practical technical solutions.
• Experience taking ownership of solutions through delivery, rather than working solely in an advisory architecture capacity.
• Experience partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and data teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, with Azure experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Workflow automation or low-code platform experience.
• Appian experience is a strong plus.
• Financial services experience is beneficial but not required.

You’re a technical generalist who understands how different systems and technologies fit together. You’re equally comfortable having a discovery conversation with a business stakeholder and working with technical teams to determine how a solution should be designed and delivered.
