Purpose of the Role Plans, designs, and implements more complex scalable, secure and high-performing solutions with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and AWS cloud. This role will support Front Office and other business areas by translating business opportunities and requirements into secure, scalable and practical solutions that make effective use of AI, cloud and modern engineering capabilities. Adheres to architectural standards for the development, deployment and management of systems.

Qualifications And Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of experience across software delivery, solution design or software development lifecycle, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect, Application Architect, Technical Lead or equivalent role.
• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience designing and delivering solutions within an AWS cloud environment.
• Practical exposure to AI-enabled applications, generative AI, machine learning services and intelligent automation.
• Experience moving technology concepts or proofs-of-concept towards production implementation.
• Strong understanding of integration, APIs, data, authentication, security, non-functional requirements and modern web application architecture (SPA, React, TypeScript)
• Experience collaborating with agile delivery teams and stakeholders across business and IT.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills and comfortable engaging with large audiences.

Overview Of Role Responsibilities (Level 1-13) Enterprise Architecture - Level 6 - Adaptation Maintain an established set of enterprise architecture artifacts.

Enterprise Infrastructure Modernization - Level 6 - Adaptation Deliver digital solution architecture services as assigned, preparing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams to align technical direction and document future-state architectures.

Business Requirements Identification - Level 6 - Adaptation Collect business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" - Level 6 - Adaptation Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.

Technical Developments Recommendation - Level 6 - Adaptation Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of the used technology, such as systems, processes, infrastructure, installations and machines.

Required Skills Architecture - Advanced Works at an advanced level to design architectures, incorporating system/service requirements. Typically works independently and provides guidance.

Enterprise application integration - Advanced Works at an advanced level to integrate different software systems and platforms within an organization, enabling seamless data exchange and communication between various applications to improve operational efficiency and data consistency. Typically works independently and provides guidance.

Network/IT security - Fully Competent Works with full competence to maintain system/service and information security, integrity, compliance and continuity. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.

Business Requirements Analysis - Fully Competent Works with full competence to express user needs in terms of business requirements, identify current capability of the business to deliver, conduct build or buy analyses, and recommend preferred approach. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.

Analyze Current State/AS-IS State - Advanced Works at an advanced level to understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure, cultures, capabilities, and processes to document the current state of processes and the business. Typically works independently and provides guidance.

Define Future State/TO-BE State - Fully Competent Works with full competence to envision and document the future state of processes and products by identifying the solution scope, potential value of the future state, and the changes to the process, products, organization infrastructure, capabilities, and technology necessary to achieve the desired future state. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.

General Experience Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (Minimum 3 years relevant architecture experience)

Managerial Experience Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
