6-Month Daily Rate Contract | Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne | Hybrid Working Model

Konnexus is partnering with a well-known Australian organisation undertaking several strategic technology initiatives. We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead solution design across projects involving platform integration, application replacement and technology modernisation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has taken solutions from concept through to implementation and is confident working with technical teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead end-to-end solution architecture across several initiatives, including:

• Replacing legacy business applications
• Integrating SaaS platforms into an established enterprise environment
• Planning application migrations, cutovers and decommissioning
• Producing solution designs and supporting architecture governance and approvals
• Providing design assurance and delivery support through to operational handover
• Working with integration, cloud, security and enterprise architecture teams to align solutions with organisational standards and strategy

What you’ll bring

• End-to-end solution architecture
• Experience assessing current-state environments and dependencies
• Ability to evaluate options and recommend practical solutions
• Experience producing high-level and detailed designs
• Experience presenting designs through architecture governance and approval processes
• Delivery support and operational handover experience Azure integration
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions
• Knowledge of API-led and event-driven integration patterns SaaS integration, identity and security
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and single sign-on using SAML or OIDC
• Understanding of SCIM provisioning, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Experience designing and governing secure APIs
• Application migration and decommissioning
• Experience delivering platform and application migrations
• Knowledge of data migration, archival and retention strategies
• Experience with dependency analysis and cutover planning
• Experience decommissioning legacy applications, including AWS-hosted environments

About you

• 5+ years’ experience working as a Solution Architect
• Strong Azure architecture and integration experience
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms into enterprise environments
• A track record of delivering architecture across complex transformation programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to quickly understand business needs and translate them into practical technology solutions
