Solutions Architect

Solution Architect Infrastructure & Technology | AWS, Platform Engineering & Architecture Governance | Global Bank

A global bank is strengthening its Architecture Centre of Excellence with an Infrastructure & Technology Solution Architect. You will design and govern solutions across the bank’s global technology platform, advise engineering teams on AWS and platform best practice, and help shape how the architecture function works across time zones and cultures.

About the role

You will own Solution Intents from concept through implementation, working with engineering teams who build on AWS with infrastructure as code and GitLab pipelines. The role is based in Amsterdam within an international, high-stakes IT environment.

You will:

• Deliver Solution Intents and govern their implementation in line with business and technical requirements
• Provide platform engineering consultancy to internal teams
• Improve and streamline processes within CoE Architecture
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges

About you

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure and platform engineering, with architecture experience
• Ability to think conceptually across technology architecture, platforms, data and security
• Experience with cloud platform architecture, ideally AWS
• Fluent business English
