Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end solutions for a global enterprise environment. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure and highly available architectures. You will work closely with technical domain owners (network, security, compute, storage, automation) and present solutions clearly to business and senior stakeholders.

What you will do

• Gather business requirements and turn them into solution designs, high-level business cases and IT system specifications
• Design complex, highly available and scalable solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
• Lead datacenter workload migrations to Azure and/or AWS
• Apply enterprise design patterns, standards and architecture principles, and contribute to architecture governance (decisions, exceptions, standards)
• Turn logical designs into detailed physical designs and documentation, and review others’ designs
• Make sure solutions meet security, availability, performance and disaster recovery requirements
• Support delivery teams through implementation, testing and handover to operations
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate technical topics in clear business terms

What we are looking for

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in an architecture role and at least 2 years as an engineer
• 4+ years migrating datacenter workloads to Azure and/or AWS, and 3+ years working with cloud computing
• Solid knowledge of server/datacenter virtualization, storage, networking and information security
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance
• Experience building complex business cases
• Exposure to Agentic AI and LLM solutions
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills (budget, scheduling, resource management)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field (preferred)

Nice to have

• Architecture certification (TOGAF, ArchiMate, Zachman or similar)
• Azure Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Working conditions

• Fully remote, with availability during US time zone business hours
• Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
