Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Analyze legacy mainframe code (COBOL/JCL/DB2) and process flows to extract true business behavior, especially around enrollment/eligibility logic. Translate extracted logic into business-readable rules and decision models, ensuring traceability from legacy system to implemented rule. Validate rules with business SMEs and oversee offshore teams' rule extraction, development, and testing deliverables. Define standards, resolve logic gaps/conflicts, and guide test case development to confirm new rules replicate legacy behavior.

Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years mainframe experience (COBOL, JCL, DB2) with strong legacy code analysis skills.
• Proven expertise in business rule extraction/translation and JDM/Decision Management platforms.
• Lead architect experience on large modernization initiatives, managing distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

• Healthcare payer/enrollment background and experience with cloud-native modernization.
