Solutions Architect - Strategic High Tech

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Architect - Strategic High Tech to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will partner closely with sales and technical stakeholders to shape solution strategy for strategic customers. The ideal candidate will guide complex data architecture discussions, support proof-of-concept development, and help customers apply modern data and AI practices to solve business challenges. This position also calls for strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to build trusted technical relationships with customer teams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $247,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to provide technical leadership on solutions
• Consult on big data architectures and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects
• Collaborate with solutions architects to support each other and users
• Guide AI native customers through competitive landscapes and best practices
• Develop technical champions within customer organizations
• Promote and recruit contributors for open-source projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a pre-sales/consulting role
• Experience building distributed data systems
• Proficient in Python and SQL programming and debugging
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud solutions
• Expertise in data engineering, such as Spark or Hadoop, or data science technologies, such as pandas or TensorFlow
• Willingness to travel to regional customers
• Degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science or Applied Mathematics, preferred
