About the Role

As a Solutions Consultant, you will be the technical backbone of our sales and customer experience — bringing deep product expertise to sales demonstrations, guiding customers through onboarding and training, creating high-quality product content, and helping ensure the Navicat platform continues to meet the highest quality standards. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise, customer enablement, and content creation, and is ideal for someone who enjoys mastering a product inside-out and helping others do the same.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Demonstrations

• Showcase deep, hands-on knowledge of Navicat products during sales demos, supporting the sales team with technical credibility and confident product walkthroughs
• Address detailed technical questions from prospects, including database administrators, developers, and IT decision-makers

Customer Training & Enablement

• Deliver after-sales training sessions for corporate customers, individuals, or groups to ensure successful onboarding and adoption
• Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and video tutorials that clearly demonstrate software features and functionality
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and continuously refine based on outcomes
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve training content and delivery
• Manage training schedules and coordinate session logistics

Content Creation

• Create Navicat video tutorials and product guides that help customers get the most out of the platform
• Prepare, translate, and regularly update support materials, including website content, product interface copy, product descriptions, promotional material, and other product documentation

Product Quality & Testing

• Perform software testing and quality assurance for current and upcoming versions of Navicat (navicat.com)
• Collect and document user requests and bug reports, working closely with the product team to relay customer feedback
• Support the identification of product issues and contribute to a smoother release process

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role (training, solutions consulting, technical support, or similar customer-facing technical role)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline required
• Strong technical aptitude with a genuine interest in databases and developer tools
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable creating training content — from written guides to video tutorials
• Detail-oriented mindset, particularly for software testing and quality assurance work
• Strong writing skills for documentation, translation, and product content
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities across training, content, and QA
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar) is highly desirable
