Solutions Development Sr. Manager

Role Overview

The Solutions Development Senior Manager leads the end-to-end design, development, and integration of enterprise software and data solutions. Reporting to the Digital Transformation Director, this role balances strategic oversight with agile execution to build high-performing engineering teams, optimize business workflows, and manage scalable digital platforms across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Architecture: Lead the strategy, development, and deployment of integrated application and data analytics solutions that optimize enterprise processes and drive digital innovation.
• Agile Project & Scope Management: Direct technical scopes, project schedules, and resource allocations to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with enterprise goals.
• Team Leadership & Development: Directly manage and mentor a team of software and systems professionals, overseeing performance reviews, skill building, and team development.
• Stakeholder & Executive Alignment: Partner with senior business leaders and functional managers to refine requirements, communicate technical trade-offs, and align software roadmaps with operational priorities.
• Vendor & Governance Management: Oversee software vendor relationships, manage subscription budgets, and enforce rigorous standards for system integration, cybersecurity, data governance, and scalability.
• Continuous Improvement: Modernize delivery workflows by introducing automated testing, agile practices, and innovative technologies that future-proof internal system infrastructure.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in software application development, enterprise data analytics, and functional ERP integrations (SAP).
• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience directly leading and managing software engineering or technical implementation teams.
• Technical Stack Familiarity: Hands-on background with ERP systems (SAP), integration tools, low-code/no-code application platforms (AppSheet), database query management (DBeaver, SQL), and BI/analytics tools (Tableau).

Key Competencies

• Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall software delivery life cycles.
• Strong financial management capabilities to oversee software subscriptions, vendor SLAs, and project budgets.
• Excellent strategic communication and negotiation skills to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional priorities.
