Solutions Engineer (AWS)

We’re looking for a AWS Solutions Engineer to bridge technical excellence with business growth at Qubika. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales, solution design, and cloud strategy, turning technical expertise into real business impact.

At Qubika, we design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for organizations making an impact through technology.

What we expect from you

• Background in roles such as: DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Platform Engineer.
• Previous experience in a client-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability and flexibility to travel across Latin America and the US to support client engagements, executive meetings, and industry events, thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and business-driven agendas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong professional English (spoken and written).
• Databricks and Microsoft (Nice to have)

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading technical conversations during pre-sales engagements
• Partnering with Sales, Studio, and Delivery teams to shape winning proposals
• Running technical discovery sessions to understand client goals, constraints, and risks
• Ensuring alignment with partnership requirements and enablement programs (AWS)
• Sharing knowledge through internal sessions, documentation, and external events — meetups, webinars, industry conferences
• Contributing to technical content such as case studies and articles
• Tracking successful projects and turning them into sales-enabling assets and compelling collateral
