Solutions Engineer

Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer at FASTER, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by engaging with both new and existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify client needs, provide technical solutions, and ensure client satisfaction through effective support and training initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support : Collaborate closely with the sales team to support all sales opportunities, including new business and value-add initiatives. Your success will directly impact your commission based on achieving annual bookings quotas.

Technical Expertise : Identify and quantify service, account, and support issues, and liaise with internal teams (development, implementation, support, data services) to resolve them promptly. In select cases, take direct action to correct support issues.

Client Training: client training needs and assist the sales team in quoting and delivering paid training sessions. Serve as a key trainer in our client management program, ensuring clients are proficient in utilizing our solutions effectively.

Client Relationship Management : Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to ensure long-term success and identify opportunities for value-added sales. Work closely with the sales team to coordinate quoting and follow-through on sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience in a technical support or solutions engineering role, preferably in a software or technology company.

Strong understanding of software applications and technical problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of automotive fleet industry.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CRM systems and sales processes.

Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure).

Prior experience in client-facing roles or consulting.

3 years of experience in Fleet Management Information Systems.
