Solutions Engineer – Core Network

Renrui Lanka is expanding its talent pool and is seeking an experienced Solution Engineer - Core Network to join our team. The selected candidate will be assigned to one of our multinational clients and will work closely with the client's Network Engineering team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a telecommunications professional looking to expand their expertise across 4G/5G Core, network virtualization, Kubernetes, signaling, VoLTE/VoNR, and related Core Network technologies while working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage regularly with customers to understand their pain points, requirements, and business needs while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Core Network Solution Manager to develop high-quality technical proposals, High-Level Designs (HLDs), Bills of Materials (BoMs), quotations, solution clarification documents, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project delivery teams to ensure that proposed and committed deliverables are successfully implemented.
• Identify and manage deviations in project scope arising from new or changing customer requirements.
• Support commercial negotiation activities and conduct internal analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about customer requirements, industry trends, and the business implications of proposed Core Network solutions.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Core Network Solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge or experience in areas such as: Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Kubernetes, 4G/5G Core, HLR/HSS, CS/VoLTE/VoNR, Signaling, Related security protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in pre-sales or project delivery of Core Network products and solutions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the business implications of proposed solutions.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel with strong analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
