POSITION INFO: Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Expert Leader to take ownership of a team responsible for the implementation, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of business-critical software solutions. This leadership role requires an individual who can effectively balance project delivery, stakeholder engagement, team development, and operational support. You will work closely with internal business units, vendors, regional teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure applications are successfully deployed, maintained, and continuously improved to support business objectives. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in driving application excellence, managing deployment activities, improving business processes, and developing team capabilities across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team responsible for application implementation, support, and enhancement activities. Provide day-to-day prioritisation, direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Manage project demand planning and coordinate activities with project teams and stakeholders. Lead application design, configuration, implementation, and deployment initiatives. Manage end-to-end software implementation projects and oversee Go-Live planning activities. Make critical Go/No-Go deployment decisions and perform due diligence assessments. Oversee system enhancements, bug resolution activities, and system continuity processes. Manage communication relating to system releases, enhancements, fixes, and changes. Liaise with vendors, third-party service providers, and business stakeholders. Investigate production issues and conduct root cause analysis. Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Configure, test, and support software solutions throughout the implementation lifecycle. Develop support documentation, training materials, and operational procedures. Deliver training programmes and knowledge-sharing initiatives to users and team members. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiency. Job Experience and Skills Required Degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Formal Project Management qualification or demonstrated project management expertise. Strong experience managing software implementation and support projects. Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong understanding of software deployment methodologies and support practices. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to troubleshoot complex application and system issues. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advantageous Skills Experience within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transport Management environments. Knowledge of Freight Forwarding business applications. Experience with Transport Management Systems. SQL knowledge and database exposure. Understanding of financial processes and reporting. Experience working with multiple third-party vendors and enterprise software platforms. Apply now!
