• You will have previous experience in food and beverage, ideally gained in a similar environment with a knowledge that reflects
• You will have an interest, and appreciation of fine food & wine
• You will be a confident communicator. This is important to liaise with our guests and your other team members
• You will always be looking for opportunities to drive the performance of the business, upsell and contribute to achieve amazing results
• You will make sure all food safety and health and safety standards are met throughout
• You will know how to deal effectively with guest feedback, both positive and negative

The details... The Sommelier will be responsible for the following;

• To visibly act upon each client’s need, delving into research for new products
• Ensure all mis en place is clean and polished as the company guidelines suggest
• The role will involve cellar control and innovative thought processes with the wine list
• To show capability in a paced restaurant
• To have an understanding and efficiency of stock control
• To serve beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Follow the example of your senior colleagues, to keep consistency within the business

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,614.40 per year
