Sonographer

Overview

We are looking for a Sonographer to provide safe and accurate ultrasound imaging services to patients. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a positive and professional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and provide proper care and assistance to patients throughout the procedure.

• Review patient medical history and relevant clinical information before conducting examinations.

• Apply appropriate ultrasound techniques and follow clinical instructions to obtain accurate diagnostic images.

• Perform routine quality checks and ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning properly.

• Maintain ultrasound equipment and accessories and report any technical or equipment issues.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

General Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, Sonography, or a related healthcare discipline.

• Relevant experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with good communication and patient-handling skills.

• Able to work independently while following clinical and safety procedures.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience performing ultrasound examinations and operating ultrasound equipment.

• Good understanding of ultrasound procedures, patient safety, and clinical assessment.

• Ability to produce quality diagnostic images while following established clinical standards and procedures.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in cardiac or other specialized ultrasound examinations.

• Experience with ultrasound equipment quality control and basic maintenance.

• Relevant professional certification or registration in Sonography/Medical Imaging.
