Sonographer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
• Produce high-quality ultrasound images in Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, Musculoskeletal, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology services.
• Assist doctors during special procedures such as biopsies and injections.
• Conduct portable ultrasound examinations in wards, operating theatres, and other designated areas as required.
• Verify patient identification and imaging details before and after examinations.
• Perform basic post-processing of diagnostic images.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Participate in on-call/standby duties as scheduled.
• Support departmental operations, workflow coordination, and customer service initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff when required.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chief Radiographer. Requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Competent in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a strong commitment to patient care and service excellence.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
