Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, assist physicians in evaluating medical conditions, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician requests and established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality ultrasound images of organs, tissues, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
• Review patient medical histories and confirm relevant clinical information before examinations.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of ultrasound reports and patient records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis.
• Follow infection control procedures, radiation safety principles where applicable, and departmental policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure, as required by the relevant healthcare authority.
• Previous experience in diagnostic ultrasound is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and pathology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional standards.
