Sonography Typist

Anandi Multispeciality Hospital is looking for a Sonography Typist to assist the radiology/sonography department with accurate and timely preparation of sonography reports.

The candidate should have good typing speed, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities

• Type and prepare sonography reports as dictated by the doctor.
• Ensure accurate entry of patient details and clinical information.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and reports.
• Review reports for spelling, formatting, and data-entry errors.
• Coordinate with the sonography/radiology department for report completion.
• Maintain proper records and documentation.
• Ensure reports are prepared and delivered within the required time.
• Perform basic computer and data-entry tasks.
• Follow hospital protocols for handling patient information.

Requirements

• Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• Previous experience as a sonography typist, medical typist, radiology typist, or hospital data-entry operator preferred.
• Good English typing speed and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure.
• Freshers with good typing skills may also apply.

Salary

₹12,000 – ₹24,000 per month
