Overview:
The Toledo Salvation Army is seeking clothing sorters to perform a variety of functions in order to assist in the operation of the clothing sorting area of our Toledo Production Center.
Duties:
Assist as required with sorting room operation.
Cross-train in all sorting room functions under the guidance of the Sorting Room Supervisor.
Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of sorting room area.
Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
Process and sort donations by inspecting and separating saleable from unsaleable items.
Categorize and box seasonal clothing, household items, and shoes.
Process and tag all sorted merchandise.
Ensure clothes are hung according to policy and on proper hanger.
Ensure that tag is properly placed on garment according to Salvation Army policy.
