We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Sound Healing Practitioner to join our wellness community and facilitate immersive sound experiences that encourage relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper sense of connection.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is passionate about sound-based wellness practices and creating calming, restorative experiences for individuals and groups. We welcome practitioners with a variety of approaches and experience using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, drums, and other sound instruments.

The instructor will lead in-person sound bath sessions at Healing Trails, Healing Space, creating a welcoming environment where participants can relax, unwind, and enjoy a mindful pause from everyday stress.

We are looking for someone who brings a professional presence, thoughtful preparation, and a genuine commitment to supporting others in their wellness journeys.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, relaxing, and thoughtfully structured sound bath experiences.
• Use sound instruments and techniques appropriate to your training, experience, and teaching style.
• Create a peaceful, inclusive, and supportive environment for participants.
• Guide participants through session introductions, relaxation practices, breath awareness, and closing reflections as appropriate.
• Prepare and organize instruments and the session space before each class.
• Communicate clearly with participants about what to expect and how to participate comfortably.
• Remain attentive to participant comfort, accessibility needs, and individual preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment after each session.
• Coordinate scheduling and session details with Healing Trails Healing Space.
• Contribute ideas for future sound baths, themed sessions, and collaborative wellness offerings.

Qualifications

• Training, certification, or demonstrated experience in sound baths, sound healing, or related sound-based relaxation practices.
• Experience facilitating individual or group sessions preferred.
• Familiarity with sound instruments such as crystal or Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, or other relevant instruments.
• Ability to create a calm, professional, and welcoming atmosphere.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability, organization, and the ability to facilitate sessions independently.
• A compassionate, inclusive approach to working with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
• A genuine interest in holistic wellness, mindfulness, and relaxation.

We welcome practitioners with different training backgrounds and sound facilitation styles who can offer safe, thoughtful, and meaningful experiences.

Contract Position Details

• In-person sessions at Healing Trails Healing Space.
• Flexible scheduling based on mutual availability and participant interest.
• Compensation open to discussion based on experience, session length, format, and agreed-upon arrangements.

This position is structured as an independent contractor engagement, with arrangements to be mutually agreed upon
