Sourcing & E-Commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an agile, tech-forward Sourcing & E-Commerce Operations Manager to lead our product expansion and platform execution. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end product sourcing across fashion and non-fashion categories, manage digital backend workflows to drive sales, and lead a small, high-performing team. You will leverage modern digital and AI tools to accelerate brand growth across our fast-paced marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Governance

• Multi-Category Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers for fashion (ready-to-wear) and non-fashion product categories aligned with target market demands.
• Commercial Negotiation: Drive aggressive price, payment term, and contract negotiations to maximize profit margins and lower unit costs.
• Quality & Margin Optimization: Oversee vendor compliance, product quality standards, and inventory planning to ensure cost-effective execution.

2. E-Commerce Backend & Logistics Operations

• Platform & Data Management: Prepare product data files, manage listings, and monitor website backend health (Magento) to optimize conversion rates and boost sales.
• F2C Logistics Monitoring: Oversee factory-to-consumer (F2C) shipping workflows, tracking delivery timelines and resolving logistics bottlenecks to protect customer satisfaction.

3. AI Visuals & Digital Content Creation

• Visual Asset Generation: Utilize AI tools to generate marketing visuals and virtual model photography for online listings and banners.
• Content Optimization: Leverage design and productivity software (Canva, Google Tools) to streamline digital visual creation and product presentation.

4. Team Leadership & Project Execution

• Team Management: Direct, mentor, and allocate daily tasks to a team of 2 junior team members to ensure smooth operational execution.
• Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Lead special projects and cross-functional growth initiatives directly supporting executive business priorities.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in sourcing, vendor management, or e-commerce operations (fashion or consumer goods background preferred).
• Digital Savvy: Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Magento familiarity is a strong plus) and data file preparation.
• Modern Toolset: Familiarity with Canva, Google Workspace, and eager to adopt AI tools for visual content creation.
• Supply Chain Skills: Proven track record in supplier negotiation, product file management, and monitoring end-to-end logistics (F2C).
• Leadership Ability: Demonstrated capability to mentor and guide junior staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin to effectively communicate with international buyers and regional manufacturers.
