Sourcing Coordinator – China Vendor Development

We are a growing product development and sourcing company working with international retailers in the USA and other global markets. We specialize in licensed merchandise, collectibles, novelty products, toys, gifts, and lifestyle accessories.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Coordinator who has strong experience identifying, evaluating, and developing reliable manufacturers and suppliers in China.

Key Responsibilities

• China Vendor Sourcing: Identify and develop new Chinese manufacturers through Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, Global Sources, and other sourcing platforms.
• Supplier Development: Research, evaluate, and shortlist factories based on product capabilities, pricing, quality, production capacity, and reliability.
• Product Sourcing: Source a wide range of licensed merchandise, including toys, collectibles, novelty items, accessories, home products, and gifts.
• Cost Negotiation: Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, MOQs, tooling costs, and production lead times.
• Factory Communication: Coordinate directly with Chinese suppliers regarding product specifications, samples, pricing, and development timelines.
• Product Development Support: Work closely with internal product development teams to identify suitable factories for new product concepts.
• Vendor Database Management: Maintain accurate supplier records, quotations, product information, and sourcing reports.
• Sampling & Follow-ups: Coordinate sample development, revisions, and approvals to ensure projects progress on schedule.
• Market Research: Research new product trends, manufacturing techniques, materials, and sourcing opportunities in China.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in China sourcing, vendor development, procurement, or merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese B2B sourcing platforms and supplier research.
• Experience sourcing consumer merchandise, toys, gifts, novelty products, or related categories.
• Good negotiation and supplier communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including quotation comparisons, costing sheets, and vendor tracking reports.
• Excellent internet research skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of FOB pricing, MOQs, sampling, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience sourcing licensed merchandise for US or international retailers.
• Existing network of Chinese factories and manufacturers.
• Familiarity with product quality standards, testing, and compliance requirements for the US market.
• Experience working with factories in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, or other manufacturing hubs in China.
• Mandarin language skills would be an added advantage but are not mandatory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
