Sourcing Executive

We are looking for a resourceful and trend-sensitive Sourcing Executive to drive the procurement of innovative raw materials and creative packaging solutions that elevate customer product offerings. In line with our position as a trusted OEM/ODM manufacturer since 1967, this role plays a critical part in identifying value-adding materials that enhance product differentiation, functionality and end-user experience. The ideal candidate will be market-aware, detail-oriented and highly collaborative with R&D and product development teams.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Supplier Development

• Source and evaluate innovative raw materials, specialty ingredients, and cutting-edge packaging options aligned with project briefs and market trends.
• Develop and maintain a database of qualified global and local suppliers, focusing on cost, quality, MOQ, lead time and innovation capability.
• Identify sustainable, eco-friendly or functional packaging solutions that align with brand/client values.
• Negotiate pricing, sampling terms and supply agreements to ensure competitive advantage and continuity.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with R&D, Product Development and Design teams to ensure materials meet technical feasibility and creative expectations.
• Attend internal product ideation meetings and contribute sourcing insights for early-stage concept validation.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Regulatory teams to ensure supplier compliance with GMP/ISO/Halal/Reach/FDA (as applicable).

Market Intelligence & Innovation

• Monitor global packaging, ingredient and personal care market trends, including material innovations, sustainability practices and regional preferences.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and supplier visits to identify emerging opportunities and technologies.
• Benchmark competitor packaging and formulation components to continuously upgrade sourcing strategy.

Documentation & Process Management

• Maintain updated records of RFQs, supplier quotes, spec sheets, compliance certifications and cost sheets.
• Support cost breakdown analysis and BOM creation for new projects.
• Assist in the development and refinement of sourcing SOPs and supplier onboarding processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Chemistry, Cosmetics Technology, Packaging or related fields.
• 2–5 years of sourcing experience in OEM/ODM, FMCG, cosmetics, or packaging industry.
• Strong knowledge of raw material categories (e.g., fragrance oils, surfactants, actives) and/or packaging materials (plastics, glass, sustainable formats).
• Familiarity with sourcing platforms, trade databases and supplier vetting processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and project coordination skills.
• Creative, curious, and commercially minded.
