Sourcing Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Sourcing Executive to join DAZZLING EXCELLENCE SDN BHD in our Cheras, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our supply chain and procurement operations. As a Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing quality suppliers and materials that support our business objectives and contribute to our operational efficiency. This position is integral to maintaining our competitive advantage and ensuring the consistent delivery of excellence across all our services.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and researching potential suppliers and vendors to meet the company's sourcing requirements
• Evaluating supplier capabilities, pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines to ensure optimal value
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable conditions
• Managing supplier relationships and maintaining regular communication to ensure performance standards are met
• Preparing sourcing reports and recommendations for management review and decision-making
• Coordinating with internal departments to understand sourcing needs and specifications
• Monitoring market trends and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities
• Maintaining accurate records of supplier information, contracts, and procurement documentation
• Supporting the procurement process from requisition through delivery and invoice reconciliation
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise sourcing processes and reduce costs

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the trades and services sector
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain professional supplier relationships
• Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy in data management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in Chinese and Malay is advantageous
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, business, or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with supplier quality management and compliance requirements
