Sourcing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating favorable commercial terms, and ensuring timely deliveries to support continuous production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, indirect goods, and operational services.
• Conduct supplier cost analysis, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Liaise closely with internal production, warehouse, and quality assurance teams to forecast procurement needs and prevent material shortages.
• Coordinate with regional vendors, shipping agents, and logistics providers for customs clearance and prompt inbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation, purchase orders (POs), contracts, and supplier master records.
• Assist in resolving supplier disputes, discrepancy claims, and material reject issues.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with strong learning agility and high motivation are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in oral and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AutoCount, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
