SOURCING EXECUTIVE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFOR SOURCING EXECUTIVE

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers for components, raw materials, andservices
• Conduct supplier assessments together with QA teams
• Ensure suppliers meet standards like ISO 13485
• Request and compare quotations (RFQs)
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
• Ensure timely sourcing of materials to support production schedules
• Monitoring lead times and delivery performance
• Identify supply risks (single-source suppliers, long lead times,geopolitical issues)
• Handle disruptions proactively
• Track supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost)
• Work closely with cross functional departments: Engineering(specifications), Quality Assurance (supplier audit), production and planning (materialneeds)
• New product introduction (NPI support) in source new materials andensure suppliers are ready before mass production
• Track cost savings and sourcing performance
