Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and addresses geopolitical challenges
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers outside of China to establish a robust and diversified supplier network
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure competitive procurement while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support product development and production needs
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and compliance with industry regulations to drive continuous improvement
• Conduct regular risk assessments of sourcing strategies and suggest alternatives to mitigate potential disruptions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring ethical sourcing practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement within the automotive industry

• Proven experience in global sourcing, with a strong understanding of geopolitical factors affecting supply chains

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Experience with supplier performance management and risk assessment

• Experience in automotive motor component sourcing is preferred

• Stationary to work in China factory (Shenzhen)
