Sourcing Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Thailand and Southeast Asia, focusing on cables, wires, connectors, and electronic components.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including forecasting, supplier sourcing, RFQ, quotation, costing, negotiation, and payment terms.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, capacity, and risk mitigation.
• Support quotation and cost analysis to improve competitiveness and cost transparency.
• Develop and manage supplier strategies across Asia.
• Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Engineering/NPI, Materials, Operations, and Global Sourcing teams.
• Handle supplier escalations related to commercial, compliance, and supply continuity issues.
• Work independently as a hands-on individual contributor and communicate directly with overseas management and global stakeholders.
• Support the growth and expansion of the Thailand manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing.
• Strong background in electronics sourcing, preferably cables, wires, connectors, or related components.
• Hands-on experience in RFQ, quotation, costing, supplier negotiation, and commercial management.
• Good knowledge of supplier markets in Thailand, China, and Southeast Asia is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage sourcing activities end-to-end.
• Good command of English for communication with overseas management and global teams.
• Flexible to attend international meetings when required.
