About the Role

We are looking for an analytical and strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our procurement strategies, drive vendor partnerships, and manage total cost of ownership. In addition to core strategic sourcing, this role plays a pivotal cross-functional role in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) — working closely with R&D, Engineering, and Operations from New Product Introduction (NPI) through component selection, phase-in/phase-out strategies, and End-of-Life (EOL) management to ensure seamless supply chain continuity and minimal material obsolescence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Lead Sourcing & Supplier Relations: Identify, negotiate with, and manage top local and international suppliers to secure premium product quality, competitive pricing, and supply reliability.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Cost Optimization: Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, value engineering, and market benchmarking to drive continuous cost reduction.
• Align Supply Chain & After-Sales: Partner with operations on demand forecasting, inventory balance, and spare parts management to maintain high customer satisfaction and minimal downtime.

2. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

• Product Life Cycle Management: Manage products throughout their lifecycle, including product introduction, enhancement, rationalization, and discontinuation. Monitor product performance and implement strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market relevance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Support to align sourcing capabilities with product roadmap timelines.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or direct materials management within manufacturing, home appliances, or consumer goods sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
