SOURCING MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

1. Commodity Strategy Development

• Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies based on market trends, technology developments, and business needs.
• Establish cost, quality, and delivery targets for assigned commodities.
• Drive supplier consolidation, dual sourcing, and supplier development initiatives.

2. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop the Commodity Sourcing Engineering team.
• Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and allocate resources effectively.
• Strengthen the team's technical, negotiation, and strategic sourcing capabilities.

3. Strategic Supplier Management

• Lead supplier selection, qualification, and development.
• Negotiate and manage Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) and key supplier contracts.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to improve supplier performance and drive innovation.

4. Cost Management & Negotiation

• Lead strategic negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and contracts.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through VAVE, should-cost analysis, and competitive bidding.
• Monitor Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and implement corrective actions.

5. NPI & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Ensure early sourcing involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering to select suitable components and strategic suppliers for new product designs.
• Resolve complex technical and commercial issues with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management within the Electronics or EMS industry.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with QuoteWin or equivalent software is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
