Sourcing Manager (Polymer resins)

该职位来源于猎聘 We are looking for a talent who is suitable for the position of Business Manager (Shanghai) with the following criteria & work:

• Sourcing, Procurement & Sales Management Strong Procurement Focus: Manage and optimize the purchasing process of plastic resins, including PP, PE, PET, and PVC, directly from Chinese producers and major distributors.

Maintain, develop, and leverage strong relationships with Chinese resin producers to secure stable supply, competitive pricing, and favorable terms.

In charge of both buying and selling operations of polymers (PP, PE, PET, PVC) to designated existing and new international clients.

Develop and maintain a robust customer and supplier database by initiating contacts, collecting inquiries, and sending competitive offers regularly.

• Market Intelligence & Strategy

Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets.

Conduct comprehensive market research by gathering regional data, pricing trends, and competitor activities to assist in pricing strategies.

Prepare detailed marketing and market intelligence reports, analyzing trends based on seasonality, regional dynamics, and customer habits.

Propose innovative marketing ideas and strategic initiatives to attract potential clients and gain market share.

• Operations & Representation

Represent Stavian at industry meetings, conferences, and international trade shows in China and globally to promote the company’s trademarks and polymer products.

Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to monitor supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations. REQUIREMENTS

• Experiences: -Minimum 5 years of experience in trading or sourcing polymers (PP, PE, PET, PVC) in China and international markets.
• Deep, in-depth understanding of the polymer market structure, dynamics, and supply chain in China.
• Strong network and existing relationships with polymer chemical plants/manufacturers in China are highly advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of the latest local and international business policies, customs, and trade regulations.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for domestic and international business trips.
