Sourcing Merchandiser

• Source for the suitable suppliers to offer the best products at best conditions as per requirements.
• Drive related parties to efficiently act for the sourcing each step especially sample making to make sure the final pre-production sample sent on time.
• Evaluate the suppliers in line with category priorities.
• Plan and participate buying trip.
• Figure out process & system problem and provide proposals to optimize. Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing position, preferably with experience in relevant categories.
• Good communication skills, and negotiation skills.
• Enjoy challenges, motivated and adapt to the fast-paced working environment.
• Good supplier management skills.
• Good teamwork and also able to work independently.
• Familiar with European regulations and markets is a plus.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Open minded and flexibility is a plus.
• Flexible for travel.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
• Proactive, efficient, act and communicate professionally with a positive attitude. As a person you must be structured, efficient, proactive and detail oriented. You are used to work under short deadlines, act and communicate professionally with a positive attitude and team-player mindset – also during busy periods.
