Sourcing Officer (Chinese Speaking)

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, source, select, and evaluate new manufacturers and suppliers in China and other international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to develop long-term business partnerships.
• Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and operational standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, commercial contracts, and purchasing conditions.
• Manage product costs to maintain competitiveness while ensuring product and service quality.
• Research and identify new products that align with market trends and consumer demand.
• Analyze product potential, pricing structures, and market competitiveness.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Regulatory Affairs, QA, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Monitor purchasing plans and delivery schedules, and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare reports and business insights to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business/Trade, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, Category Management, or Business Development.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Trading, Import & Distribution businesses.
• Experience working and negotiating with manufacturers or suppliers in China.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Good English communication skills for business purposes.
• Thai language proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of Import & Export, International Procurement, and Supply Chain operations.
• Strong analytical, planning, and cost management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
