Sourcing Specialist

This role will be based in Bangsar South.

What you’ll be doing

• Support sourcing activities including RFI, RFQ and RFP processes.
• Assist with supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations and sourcing recommendations across assigned categories (~A$15M spend).
• Prepare sourcing analysis, track sourcing projects and maintain sourcing documentation.
• Monitor contract renewals, expiries and contract administration activities.
• Support Procurement processes including Supplier Relationship Management, Category Management and supplier risk assessment.
• Assist users in adopting Procurement systems and tools (e.g. Simfoni, SmartHub, eSourcing and Spend Analytics).
• Support Procurement policy, process and training material development and maintenance.
• Conduct procurement data analysis and reporting to provide business insights
• Identify opportunities to improve Procurement processes, tools and ways of working.
• Provide sourcing and procurement support for ad hoc categories and projects as required.

Requirement:

• 4+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or a related commercial role.
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in sourcing activities, including RFx, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Exposure to Procurement processes such as Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, and Supplier Risk Management.
• Direct category experience in Ingredients, Commodities, or Packaging is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and procurement reporting.
• Familiarity with Procurement systems and digital tools is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
