Sourcing Specialist

In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers, conduct on-site visits, and ensure our products meet quality and sustainability standards. You’ll collaborate closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain a seamless supply chain. If you have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy supplier scouting, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Request, review, compare, and negotiate supplier quotations and commercial terms.
• Conduct price benchmarking and cost analysis to identify competitive purchasing prices and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare costing calculations, pricing comparisons, and commercial recommendations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and sourcing agents on product specifications, quotations, and deadlines.
• Support product development by assessing product costs and commercial feasibility.
• Maintain accurate and complete product information and records in company systems, including Exact Online where applicable.
• Collect, verify, and monitor supplier certifications and compliance documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy, follow established workflows, and report outstanding issues or potential risks to the manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient sourcing and purchasing processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and willingness to learn business systems.
• Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
