Sourdough Baker

THE ROLE:

We are excited to be recruiting into our bakery and are currently seeking bakers who can bring enthusiasm, energy and creativity to our bake team!

Under the guidance of our Head Baker you will learn to understand and manage each of the processes involved in creating our distinctive Pollen sourdough style and range.

WHAT YOU’ll BE DOING:

• Mixing, shaping and baking dough for our full product range
• Management of fermentation process
• Efficiently managing, prioritising daily & weekly prep schedule
• Completion of food safety processes: HACCAP, daily/weekly record keeping
• Processing wholesale product dispatch
• Product development: contributing creatively to keep our product range evolving
• Product ordering and managing deliveries into the business
• Managing daily/weekly cleaning tasks, keeping the bakery organised, tidy and safe

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum 4 months in a Baker role working with sourdough products
• Confident and clear communicator
• Keen eye for detail and consistency, obsessive about quality
• Able to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a small team
• Highly organised, able to work efficiently in a compact space
• Creatively driven with a passion for product development
• Proactive about your own development and keen to grow with our business
